Be Part of the Movement by Becoming a Member of APT

There are 3 Memberships available:

1. General Membership ($299/year): choose this option if you are engaged in the practice of trichology or in other supportive industries, practices, services, and/or academic areas in medicine, nutrition, science, and product formulation.

2. Adjunct Membership ($299/year): choose this option if you are interested in the objectives of the Association, but not qualified for general membership. Adjunct members include, but are not limited to, professionals who specialize in marketing, finance, law, and other business-related services. Members at this level are entitled to all general membership privileges except they cannot vote or hold elected office within the Association. Adjunct members are qualified to become general members after 5 years of membership in good standing.

3. Student Membership ($99/year): choose this option if you are enrolled in an educational program anywhere in the world. It also applies to people who have completed introductory trichology training and plan to continue their education with more advanced classes before offering trichology services to the public. Student status is available to persons enrolled in a state-approved cosmetology school, barber school or recognized trichology program.

   Student members are entitled to all general membership privileges except they cannot vote or hold elected office within the Association. Student status can only be assigned once throughout a member’s lifetime, including those who have reinstated their membership and student membership will last for a duration of one year. Future membership status will be assigned general or adjunct, depending on qualifications.
