OUR MISSION
The mission of the Association of Professional Trichologists is to be a trusted and respected organization for practitioners of trichology where there is access to education, products, and industry resources which help professionals provide standardized care that relies on evidence-based information, peer-reviewed research, and accepted methodologies and practices. Our objectives are to:
- standardize care, education, and credentialing within the field of trichology,
- present a qualified network of trichologist services to the public,
- promote local, regional, national and international relationships for the interchange and dissemination of research-based materials and new technologies related to the trichology service industry,
- provide business resources for the advancement of practitioners of trichology, and
- develop and strengthen the professional relationship between trichologists and dermatologists.
