Global Trichology Summit: Advancing Trichoscopy Credentialing

The Association of Professional Trichologists is bringing together global thought leaders to define the core competencies of imaging techniques in trichology and help shape the future of professional and technological standards in the Trichology industry. This landmark event is dedicated to a singular, transformative mission: elevating our global industry through the creation of the first credentialing program for Trichologists in Trichoscopy.

Building on the momentum of our first VIRTUAL Unity Summit in 2025, we continue our mission of developing the standards that will unify and advance Trichology worldwide. This year we continue this virtual format to accommodate participants from all over the world.

We will host experts from across the globe in the field of Trichoscopy to share insights from both sides of the industry: educators & practitioners as well as scientists & developers of the technological tools used in Trichoscopy.

Through these 2 curated panel discussions, we will tackle some of the most critical questions in the field:

  • What are the core trichoscopy competencies within the profession?

  • How do we educate Trichologists without an unified global standard?

  • Can trichoscopy be used virtually?

  • How can artificial intelligence complement scalp & hair assessments by humans?

  • What images should be included to have a comprehensive database?

  • Can gathering scalp microbiome data be useful in Trichoscopy assessments?

This summit is designed for professionals who are committed to advancing standards in hair and scalp health, including:
